Body Awareness

We develop body or somatic awareness by tuning into our body. We pay attention, to our breath, muscle tone and kinesthetic sense.

 

How do we feel in our body right now?

 

Where am I tense? Where is my body loose?

 

Does movement change how I feel in my body? Do I prefer some movement to others?

 

What are the qualities of my body systems? muscle? skeleton? fluids, organs and connective tissue?

 

What do I “hear” when I listen to my body?

 

What dance will emerge?
